This game is one of the phenomena of our time and history will record this sport, loved by millions of children, youth and adults.  The first historical evidence attesting a ball game is in the English chronicles from 1175. In France, in the fourteenth century there is a similar practice, done by masses, namely the game “La soule” and in Italy “Il giuoco del calcio” (playing with the foot).

In 1602, in England in Carew’s book “Surwey of Cornwall” appear the first details of this game. During that period were practiced two kinds of ball games: ‘”Hurling at gooles “(throwing over the goals) and “Hurling over country”(throw away). In the eighteenth century, in the town of Rugby students began to practice the game “Hurling at does” or how we call it today rugby.  At Chartenhanse and Westminster schools, the players were forced by a rule to run the ball with the foot, which lead to the new name of the game: “Dribbling game”, the ancestor of today’s football.
